Due to water scarcity in some countries and regions, the governments (of these places) are concerned about protecting the natural resources. For this purpose, they make the used water reusable once again by a new technique. This water is called ‘Recycled Water’.  There is no difference with regards to the smell, taste and colour between this water and regular water.

The ruling regarding this water is that the body and clothes will not become impure by this water touching it. However, it is not correct to do wudhu or ghusl with such water.  It will be correct if this water is used to remove najaasat-e-haqiqi (actual filth) and purity from najaasat-e-haqiqi will also be obtained.
