“The day of Eid is one of happiness. Sometimes, when one is overwhelmed by happiness, they forget the Hereafter. Visiting the graves reminds one of the Hereafter. Therefore, it is befitting to visit the grave on the day of Eid. There is no problem in doing this. However, to treat it as necessary, even simply by practically adhering to it in such a manner that others may get the impression that it is necessary and binding, is incorrect. Similarly, if someone does not visit the grave on that day, then to criticize him or consider him low is also incorrect. In this regard, it is necessary to be cautious.”
