بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

ثُمَّ أَفِيضُواْ مِنۡ حَيۡثُ أَفَاضَ ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱسۡتَغۡفِرُواْ ٱللَّهَ‌ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٌ۬ رَّحِيمٌ۬

”Then flow down from where the people flow, and seek forgiveness from Allah. Certainly Allah is Most-Forgiving, Very-Merciful.” (199)

Ruling: In the days of ignorance once the people would go to arafat, the Quraish would not join them but rather do wuquf at muzdalifa to show their importance. Allah commanded them to join the people in their wuquf at arafat. (Tafseer Uthmani V1 pg210, Jalalayn v1 pg)
