The scholars of the ummah all agree that both saheeh and hasan ahadith are used as evidence in all matters of Deen, whether it pertains to issues of aqeedah, tafseer, jurisprudence or fadhaail (virtues).
This is why both of these combined are known as: “maqbool hadith” or “accepted narrations”.
