بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Below is a combination of many Prophetic Ahadith narrated on the topic of raising girls and its rewards.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Whoever has three daughters, or three sisters, and
- fears Allah regarding them,[i]
- takes up the responsibility of caring for them,[ii]
- supports them,[iii]
- spends on them,[iv]
- gives them shelter,[v]
- feeds them,[vi]
- gives them to drink,[vii]
- clothes them from his wealth,[viii]
- conceals them,[ix]
- treats them kindly,[x]
- disciplines them,[xi]
- gives them a good upbringing,[xii]
- prevents them (from wrongdoing)[xiii]
- is patient towards them,[xiv]
- keeps good company with them,[xv]
- has mercy on them,[xvi]
- is sufficient for them,[xvii]
- does not bury them alive,[xviii]
- does not humiliate them,[xix]
- does not prefer his (male) children over them,[xx]
- (does all this) until they reach maturity and then,[xxi]
- marries them off,[xxii]
- or they die,[xxiii]
- For him is the rewards of the mujahid in path of Allah while fasting and standing (in prayer),[xxiv]
- They will be a barrier for him on the Day of Judgment from the Hell Fire,[xxv]
- And I and he will come on the Day of Judgement like this (and the Prophet closed his fingers)[xxvi]
- And he will enter Paradise,[xxvii]
- I and he will enter Paradise like these two (And the Prophet indicated with his two fingers.)”
A Sahabi asked, “And two, O Messenger of Allah?” He ﷺ replied, “Even two.”[xxviii] A Sahabi said, “If someone had asked, ‘And one?’ he ﷺ would have replied, ‘Even one.’”[xxix]
There is a narration of ‘Sunan Ibn Majah’ where the Messenger ﷺ explicitly mentions the above for raising even one daughter.
