Question:

There is an udhiyah of a lady, will one mention her father’s name for instance, Saeedah bint Khalid (Saeedah Daughter of Khalid), or will we add the husband’s name for instance, Saeedah Zawjah Zaid (Saeedah Wife of Zaid)?

Answer: حامدا ومصليا ومسلما

One may add which ever one wishes. The objective is to specify the animal which will be achieved in any case. If this specification can be achieved without adding anyone’s name then there is no need for it.
