Question:
My friend has a son who was naturally circumcised. Circumcision is a sunnah of Ibrahim عليه السلام and is necessary to do, however the skin that is usually clipped off is not present. What is the ruling on this?
Answer: حامدا ومصليا ومسلما
If the head of this child’s penis (glans) is visible in such a manner that when a person looks at it he feels that circumcision was already performed, and any further clipping of the skin will cause pain to the child then there is no need for circumcision.
