Question:

Are the customary announcements, which are made in the Masajid for donations, nowadays, contrary to إِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ “Of Thee alone do we seek help”?

Answer:

The announcements for donations (for a madrasah, Deeni matter or afflicted people) are not contrary to إِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ “Of Thee alone do we seek help”. Rather, they are established by the ahadith.

And Allah Ta’ala knows best.
