Question:

The ruling of hijab for women are very strict. A woman should even cover her nails from men. However, nowadays, women go to offices, stores (as saleswomen) and walk around on the roads without hijab. This is clearly wrong. The question is that if a woman comes on Television then for sure hundred’s of thousands of men will see her. Nowadays women come on TV for tabligh (conveying the Deen). Will they acquire the pleasure of Allah and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) by this act?

Answer:

How can those women who break the laws of Allah and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and show themselves on a screen, ever gain the pleasure of Allah and His Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) (by this act)? Yes! Iblis (Satan) and the children of Iblis will surely be pleased with this action.
