Question:

There is a teacher who teaches boys and girls Quran and Urdu. All the students, boys and girls, are non-balighs. Is it permissible to teach them together, especially since the teacher keeps them under control?

Answer:

Girls that are nine years and above should not be taught together with boys. A female teacher should be appointed to teach them separately. There is a leeway to place girls younger than nine years in a boys madrasah where a male teacher is supervising them.
