Awjazul Masalik ilaa Muatta Malik.

 This book is unique. It has combine both hadith and fiqh discussions. The author commentates in details both on the sanad of the hadith as well as its matan. It took him 30 years to complete this work. Awjazul Masalik is a combination of the unique styles of the shuroohat of Muatta before it. In discussing asaaneed and waslul mawquffat he follows in the footsteps of “Tamheed” of Ibn Abdil Barr. He firstly explains the hadith briefly like Baji in “Muntaqaa”, and he explains all the mufradaat and rijal like Zurqani in his “Sharh”.  (الكــانــدهلـوي ومنهجه في شرح الموطأ)

Shaikh Alawi ibn Abbas Maliki, the father of Muhammad Alawi Maliki said: This book is unique, the author is a hanafi, however, we did not learn many of the branched out masail of the maliki mathab but from this book.
