Ibrahim ibn Adham the great devout worshiper met Imam Abu Hanifah the great scholar. In practicing on Allah’s command: “And remind one-another of the truth.” {Asr: 3} the following ensued:

Imam Abu Hanifah advised: “You have been afforded the opportunity to worship Allah in abundance, you should now make knowledge your concern as it is the start of worship and the foundation of ebadah.”

Ibrahim ibn Adham also warned: “And you should make practicing on your knowledge and ebadah your concern, otherwise you will perish.”
