Books on Fabricated Hadith

The following books mention many fabricated hadiths and the reasons there were graded as such. However, sometimes a scholar may consider a particular hadith to be fabricated while others will disagree. For instance the book كتاب الموضوعات لابن الجوزي has many hadiths which are in fact weak, sound or even authentic. Therefore it is necessary to also study the books that have refuted many of his incorrect grading. The following edition of كتاب الموضوعات من الأحاديث المرفوعات لابن الجوزي has a very valuable hashiyah which mention the opinions of other muhadditheen. Therefore do not hasten in grading a hadith mawdoo that Ibnul Jawzi called fabricated unless other muhadditheen agree.
