The Winners & Losers on the Day of Judgement

JJ
The next stages on the Day of Judgement include:

  • THE SORTING INTO THREE GROUPS

Then Allah will sort the people into three distinct groups:

  1. The Companions of the Right Hand (i.e., the Righteous Believers)
  2. The Companions of the Left Hand (i.e., the Rejecters of Faith)
  3. The Foremost (i.e., the Prophets, the Messengers and those who were the most sincere and truthful)
  • FINAL DETERMINATION – WINNERS AND THE LOSERS

Each of these categories will have two groups each.
Then Allah will determine the Winners and the Losers, those who are successful and those that are miserable. They are the people of the Paradise and the people of the Fire.

  • FINAL DESTINATION – JANNAH OR JAHANNAM

So then Allah, Most High will give everyone their visa and their ticket for the Hellfire or the Paradise of which He has described in many places in the Qur’aan.
Hell:
And for those who disbelieve in their lord is the torment of hell, and worst indeed is that destination.
When they are cast therein, they will hear the terrible drawing in of its breath as it blazes forth.
It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: “did no warner come to you?”   (Sura Mulk: 6-8)
Heaven:
“Verily, the dwellers of paradise, that day, will be busy with joyful things.
They and their wives will be in pleasant shade, reclining on thrones.
They will have therein fruits of all kinds and all that they ask for.
It will be said to them: “salaam – a word from the lord, most merciful.”
(Sura Yasin: 55-58)
CONCLUSION
These depictions and descriptions are as real and truthful as anything that you have experienced in the life and are beyond that in both pleasure and pain.
The Qur’aan tells us that the Hereafter is better and more lasting.
This means that the world that we live in is temporary, deceiving and extremely limited, while the station of Paradise is greater, more profound and permanent.
The Hellfire is also a recompense and it too will be a permanent place of residence for those who are so unfortunate to be sent there.
“Paradise is closer to any one of you than the strap on your sandal and so is the Hellfire.” (Bukhari)
Compare your stay in this life as a ratio to that of the Day of Judgment:
The most that one will live in this world is one hundred years. The Day of Judgement will be 50,000 years long.
100 years/50,000
Compare your stay in this life as a ratio to that of the Akhirah (Jannah/Jahannam):
100 years/Eternity
Makes us think, doesn’t it?
Has not the time come for all of us to examine ourselves and reform our lives in order to qualify for the Mercy of the Almighty?
Let us do our own reckoning and our own reflecting before the Hour of Reckoning overcomes us.
Let us remind ourselves that we do not have a lot of time left.
The Day of Judgment is a day of great remorse for those who did not acknowledge Allah’s greatness and power and turned away from Him knowingly.
May Allah protect us from such regret.
I ask Allah to allow at least one word of mine be a reminder for me and for you, and that He allows it to be implemented into our lives, and that He allows it to be a means of weighing heavier on my scale of good deeds and your scale of good deeds, Ameen.
Let us conclude with the words of Allah in this Video – Surah Qiyamah
