{"id":6100,"date":"2018-05-20T10:49:34","date_gmt":"2018-05-20T14:49:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fiqhulislam.co\/?p=6100"},"modified":"2018-05-20T10:49:34","modified_gmt":"2018-05-20T14:49:34","slug":"kufr-kafir","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiqhulislam.com\/?p=6100","title":{"rendered":"Kufr\/K\u0101fir"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\ufd3e\u0625\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0630\u064a\u0646 \u0643\u0641\u0631\u0648\u0627 \u0633\u0648\u0627\u0621 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647\u0645 \u0621\u0623\u0646\u0630\u0631\u062a\u0647\u0645 \u0623\u0645 \u0644\u0645 \u062a\u0646\u0630\u0631\u0647\u0645 \u0644\u0627 \u064a\u0624\u0645\u0646\u0648\u0646\ufd3f<br \/>\n<\/span><br \/>\nIndeed, it is the same to those who [<em>kafar\u016b <\/em>(singular.<em> kafara<\/em>)] &#8220;<em>disbelieve&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not &#8220;<em>believe&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">(Qur&#8217;\u0101n 2:6)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Q\u0101\u1e0d\u012b Ibn\u00a0<sup>c<\/sup>Atiyyah al-Andal\u016bs\u012b, may All\u0101h have mercy on him, writes the following about this verse:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The mental concept of <em>kufr<\/em> is derived from the [Arab\u2019s] statement <em>kafara<\/em>\u00a0[used] when something was covered or concealed; from this you get the poet Lab\u012bd ibn Rabi\u2019ah\u2019s statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">\u0641\u064a \u0644\u064a\u0644\u0629 \u0643\u0641\u0631 \u0627\u0644\u0646\u062c\u0648\u0645 \u063a\u0645\u0627\u0645\u0647\u0627<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cOn a night, [in which] its clouds <em>kafara<\/em> the stars (i.e. concealed them).\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8230;Due to this the night is called a <em>k\u0101fir<\/em> because it covers everything with its blackness.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[It is also] due to this that farmers are called <em>kuff\u0101r<\/em> [pl. of <em>k\u0101fir<\/em>], because they cover the seed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Therefore, \u201c<em>kufr<\/em>\u201d with respect to the <em>d\u012bn<\/em> means: he\/she covered their heart with filth as a substitute for <em>\u012bm\u0101n<\/em>, or they covered the truth with their statements and actions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Source: <em>al-Mu\u1e25arrar al-Waj\u012bz<\/em> of Ibn <sup>c<\/sup>Atiyyah al-Andal\u016bs\u012b.
