\nIn <\/span>The Radiant Meadow<\/em>, Mull\u0101 Al\u012b al-Q\u0101r\u012b (May All\u0101h have mercy on him) mentions the following narration on the authority of Ab\u016b Hurayrah (May All\u0101h be pleased with him): <\/span><\/p>\n
<\/div>\n
\nThe Messenger of All\u0101h (May space and blessings of All\u0101h be upon him) said: All\u0101h, Exalted is He, said, \u201cI prepared for my pious slaves that which no eye has seen, no ear has heard, nor has it occurred to the heart of anyone.\u201d(Reported by A\u1e25mad [1], Bukh\u0101r\u012b [2], Muslim [3], al-Tirmidh\u012b [4], and Ibn M\u0101jah [5].)<\/span>\n<\/div>\n

The Shaykh then explains: <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\n\u201cPious slaves<\/strong>: Those who fulfill their duty to All\u0101h and the creation. <\/span><\/p>\n
<\/div>\n
\nThat which no eye….anyone<\/strong>: That which All\u0101h has prepared for His God-Fearing slaves in Jannah (i.e. of bliss), in reality, is beyond the intellect\u2019s conception, and far removed from what the eyes have seen and the ears have heard. In fact, it is beyond the boundaries of the vision of every intellectual\u2019s mind, and the sight of every eye that sees, and the hearing of every ear that is alert.<\/span><\/p>\n
<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
\nWhatever occurs in the mind of a person as a manifestation of those pleasures, or whatever his imagination becomes full of [in that respect], is beyond anything his eyes may fall on, or his ears hear about, and likewise that which All\u0101h prepared for His slaves in His Jannah is greater and more magnificent.<\/span><\/p>\n

\nWhat is mentioned in the Qur\u2019an and the Prophetic \u0101\u1e25\u0101d\u012bth<\/em> describing the comforts of Jannah with that which is similar to it in this world is only to give the minds an approximation, however the reality is beyond the bounds of description. And we find an allusion to this in His, Exalted is He, statement: \u201cThe <\/span>similitude<\/span> of the Jannah that was prepared for the God-Fearing: beneath it rivers flow.\u201d(Surah Ra\u2019d<\/em>, \u0100yah<\/em>: 35)<\/span><\/p>\n

\nSo, in the garden of the Hereafter there are rivers and springs of water, fruits, pomegranates, the meat of birds, milk, honey, bracelets of gold and silver, clothes, couches, spouses, and beautiful blessings, but what a difference between the like of it which we find in this world and what exists in the Hereafter.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

\nMay All\u0101h make us amongst those who enter Jannah, and may He save us from Jahannam. \u0100m\u012bn<\/em><\/span>\n<\/div>\n

\nThe Book & Author:<\/strong><\/p>\n
al-Raw\u1e0dah al-Bahiyya F\u012b Shar\u1e25 al-A\u1e25\u0101d\u012bth al-Quds\u012byyah al-Arb\u2019iniyyah <\/em>(<\/span>The Radiant Meadow: A Commentary on Forty \u1e24ad\u012bth Quds\u012b<\/em>)<\/span> was written by Mull\u0101 Al\u012b al-Q\u0101r\u012b, a scholar from Khuras\u0101n (modern day Afghanistan). He first studied in his homeland, memorizing the Qur\u2019\u0101n, studying <\/span>tajw\u012bd<\/em>, and attending the gatherings of the scholars. Later, he settled in Makkah and studied with the scholars there. He has written in many fields of the Islamic sciences; has a commentary on <\/span>Mishkah<\/em>, as well as a commentary of Ibn Hajr\u2019s <\/span>Nukhba al-Fikr<\/em>, to name just a few of his works. He was a calligraphist and earned a living with this skill. Mull\u0101 Al\u012b al-Q\u0101r\u012b died in Shaww\u0101l of the year 1014 A.H. and is buried in Makkah.<\/span><\/div>\n
