He mentions in the Holy Quran:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u0648\u0644\u0627 \u062a\u0639\u0627\u0648\u0646\u0648\u0627 \u0639\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0625\u062b\u0645 \u0648\u0627\u0644\u0639\u062f\u0648\u0627\u0646<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cAnd do not help each other in sin and aggression.\u201d (Surah Maa\u2019idah:2)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He also said:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>\u0648\u0644\u0627 \u062a\u0633\u0628\u0648\u0627 \u0627\u0644\u0630\u064a\u0646 \u064a\u062f\u0639\u0648\u0646 \u0645\u0646 \u062f\u0648\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0641\u064a\u0633\u0628\u0648\u0627 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u062f\u0648\u0627 \u0628\u063a\u064a\u0631 \u0639\u0644\u0645<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cDo not revile those whom they invoke other than Allah, lest they should revile Allah in transgression without having knowledge.\u201d (Surah An\u2019aam:108)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are two actions mentioned above:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><em>Assisting in Forbidden Acts <\/em><strong>(\u0627\u0639\u0627\u0646\u0629 \u0639\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0639\u0635\u064a\u0629)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><em>To be a Means for a Sin being committed\u00a0<\/em><strong>(\u062a\u0633\u0628\u0628 \u0627\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0639\u0635\u064a\u0629)\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>However every means of a sin being committed is not forbidden, since this could lead to extreme difficulty. For instance selling food <\/strong>could be a means of nourishing a non-Muslim who will engage in impermissible acts. Therefore the late Grand Mufti of Pakistan, Hazrat Mufti Muhammad Shafee sahib (May Allah have mercy on him) wrote a detailed article on this issue and mentioned those scenarios which would be permissible and those that would not be.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There can be 4 scenarios based on the above question:<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>The vendor actually intends to assist in the sin.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He sells the chicken with the intention and desire that the customer makes puja with it.<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"2\">\n<li>The sin is clearly mentioned in the transaction.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The customer says, \u201cSell me the chicken so I can make puja with it.\u201d The vendor accepts the offer and sells him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Ruling: <\/strong>The above two scenarios are prohibited. [1]<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"3\">\n<li>Distant, indirect means when he knew about the sin before the sale:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He sells the chicken to someone who will use it to make puja <strong>but <\/strong>this was not the vendor\u2019s intention nor was it explicitly mentioned in the transaction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Ruling: <\/strong>Some scholars say this is makrooh tanzihi (undesirable), [1] while others permit it without any reprehension. They say, selling chickens is permissible, the customer is responsible for his\/her actions. [2]<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\" start=\"4\">\n<li>Distant, indirect means when he learnt about the sin after the sale.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He did not know that the sin would be committed at the time of the transaction, rather, he only learnt of it later.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Ruling: <\/strong>There will be no blame on him and he will be excused according to all the scholars.
