{"id":5922,"date":"2017-07-18T22:41:35","date_gmt":"2017-07-19T02:41:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fiqhulislam.co\/?p=5922"},"modified":"2017-07-18T22:41:35","modified_gmt":"2017-07-19T02:41:35","slug":"dua-when-one-reaches-the-sufoof-rows-before-saying-the-takbir-tahrimah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fiqhulislam.com\/?p=5922","title":{"rendered":"Dua When One Reaches the Sufoof (rows) Before saying the Takbir Tahrimah"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u0628\u0633\u0645 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u062d\u0645\u0646 \u0627\u0644\u0631\u062d\u064a\u0645<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sa\u2019d ibn Abi Waqqas \u0631\u0636\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0646\u0647 narrates that a man came to the Salah while the Messenger \ufdfa was performing the Salah with us and he said when he reached the <em>saff <\/em>(row),<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\"><strong>\u0627\u064e\u0644\u0644\u0651\u0670\u0647\u064f\u0645\u0651\u064e \u0622\u062a\u0650\u0646\u0650\u064a\u0652 \u0623\u064e\u0641\u0652\u0636\u064e\u0644\u064e \u0645\u064e\u0627 \u062a\u064f\u0624\u0652\u062a\u0650\u064a\u0652 \u0639\u0650\u0628\u064e\u0627\u062f\u064e\u0643\u064e \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0651\u064e\u0627\u0644\u0650\u062d\u0650\u064a\u0652\u0646\u064e<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\"><em>Allahumma aatini af-dhala maa tu-ti ebaadakas-saliheen<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">(O Allah, grant me the best of that which you give your righteous servants.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When the Prophet \ufdfa completed the Salah, he asked, \u201cWho was the speaker just now?\u201d The man said, \u201cI, O Messenger of Allah.\u201d The Prophet \ufdfa said, \u201cThen your horse will be crippled and you will be martyred in the path of Allah.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">[Collected by Nasai in \u2018Amalul Yawm\u2019,<a href=\"#_ftn1\" name=\"_ftnref1\">[1]<\/a> Ibn Sunni,<a href=\"#_ftn2\" name=\"_ftnref2\">[2]<\/a> \u00a0Ibn Khuzaimah<a href=\"#_ftn3\" name=\"_ftnref3\">[3]<\/a>, Ibn Hibban<a href=\"#_ftn4\" name=\"_ftnref4\">[4]<\/a>, Bazzar<a href=\"#_ftn5\" name=\"_ftnref5\">[5]<\/a>, Abu Ya\u2019la<a href=\"#_ftn6\" name=\"_ftnref6\">[6]<\/a>, Tabarani in \u2018Dua\u2019<a href=\"#_ftn7\" name=\"_ftnref7\">[7]<\/a>, Hakim in \u2018Mustadrak\u2019<a href=\"#_ftn8\" name=\"_ftnref8\">[8]<\/a>.]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The following <em>muhaddithun<\/em> placed this hadith under the title,<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">[\u0628\u0627\u0628 \u0627\u0644\u0642\u0648\u0644 \u0639\u0646\u062f \u0627\u0644\u0627\u0646\u062a\u0647\u0627\u0621 \u0627\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0641 [\u0642\u0628\u0644 \u062a\u0643\u0628\u064a\u0631\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0627\u0641\u062a\u062a\u0627\u062d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201cWhat to say when one reaches the <em>saff<\/em> (rows) [before the <em>tabir<\/em> to commence <em>salah<\/em>]\u201d<\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Nasaai,<\/li>\n<li>Ibn Sunni,<\/li>\n<li>Ibn Khuzaimah,<\/li>\n<li>Tabarani in \u2018Dua\u2019,<\/li>\n<li>Nawawi in \u2018Azkaar\u2019<a href=\"#_ftn9\" name=\"_ftnref9\">[9]<\/a>,<\/li>\n<li>Ibn Hajr in \u2018Nataaijul Afkaar\u2019<a href=\"#_ftn10\" name=\"_ftnref10\">[10]<\/a>,<\/li>\n<li>and Ibn A\u2019llan in \u2018Futoohaat Rabbaniyah\u2019<a href=\"#_ftn11\" name=\"_ftnref11\">[11]<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Points derived from this Hadith:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is <em>masnoon<\/em> and desirable to recite this <em>dua<\/em> (supplication) when one reaches the <em>saff<\/em> (row) of the congregational <em>salah<\/em> before he says the <em>takbir tahrimah<\/em> (the <em>takbir<\/em> to commence the <em>salah<\/em>) as the Messenger of Allah \ufdfa did not simply approve of it but also indicated to the acceptance of his supplication.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Another point noteworthy is that one of the best gifts a Muslim may be granted is martyrdom in the path of Allah.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Grade of the Hadith<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Imam Hakim has classified it authentic on the condition of \u2018Sahih Muslim\u2019 and Hafidh Zahabi agreed with him. However, Hafidh Haithami and Hafidh Ibn Hajr<a href=\"#_ftn12\" name=\"_ftnref12\">[12]<\/a> pointed out that one of its narrators, Muhammad ibn Muslim ibn &#8216;Aa-idh is not a narrator of \u2018Sahih Muslim\u2019. The scholars then disagree on the status of this narrator. Some have graded him unknown, but this is incorrect, as Hafidh Ibn Hibban<a href=\"#_ftn13\" name=\"_ftnref13\">[13]<\/a>, Hafidh E\u2019jli<a href=\"#_ftn14\" name=\"_ftnref14\">[14]<\/a> and Hafidh Haithami<a href=\"#_ftn15\" name=\"_ftnref15\">[15]<\/a> all graded him as reliable.
