However, he has categorically prohibited looking at a digital picture or video of a non-mahram adorned or uncovered\u00a0woman. Therefore, those who have the\u00a0<strong>false notion<\/strong>\u00a0that Hazrat Mufti sahib allows watching conventional TV programs or movies which comprise of non-mahram women and lewdness should read his following disclaimer from\u00a0the same fatwa where he discusses the issue of pictures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;<strong>TV and Video<\/strong>:\u00a0As for TV and videos, then there is\u00a0<strong>no doubt<\/strong>\u00a0that it is\u00a0<strong>haram<\/strong>\u00a0to look at the many\u00a0<em>mukaraat<\/em>\u00a0(sinful things) that these two mediums comprise of, \u00a0like immodesty, obscenity, adorned or uncovered\u00a0women, and other means of<em>\u00a0<\/em><em>fisq<\/em>\u00a0(sins) and\u00a0<em>fujoor<\/em>\u00a0(lewdness).&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>[Fiqhi Maqaalaat<\/strong>\u00a0Vol.4 Pg.132-133]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also see Hazrat Mufti sahib&#8217;s [<strong>Takmilah Fathil Mulhim<\/strong>\u00a0Vol.4 Pg.143]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Below both references are uploaded.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>N.B.<\/strong>\u00a0&#8220;Uncovered&#8221; (translation of the Urdu word &#8220;neem barhanah&#8221; which was translated from the Arabic word &#8220;\u0627\u0644\u0639\u0627\u0631\u064a\u0627\u062a&#8221;) in Islam is any exposed awrah. The awrah of a woman is her entire body excluding the face, hands to her wrist and feet to her ankles according to the Ahnaaf.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>N.B.\u00a0<\/strong>The male&#8217;s awrah is from his navel to below his knees. <strong>Women<\/strong> are also commanded to <strong>lower their gazes<\/strong> in the Quran Majid. So do take heed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ask your heart, which kafir TV show or movie is free from women whose awrah aren&#8217;t exposed?
