There are three (3)<\/strong> scenarios to this issue. The first two (2) breaks the fast while the third does not:<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong>\u00a0Putting vicks in boiling water<\/strong><\/span> and thereafter deliberately inhaling the steam (while fasting), will break<\/strong> one’s fast.<\/p>\n

2.\u00a0<\/strong>Fast will be broken<\/strong> by the inhaler<\/strong><\/span> whether taken thorough the mouth or nose.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0<\/strong>The topical<\/strong><\/span> application of Vicks does not<\/strong> invalidate one\u2019s fast.\u00a0 A substance with a discernable body must enter a valid entry point to potentially break the fast.\u00a0 Merely smelling or feeling the effects of Vicks within oneself will have no implications on one\u2019s fast.<\/p>\n
