Will the peer then become her mahram?<br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Answer:\u00a0\u062d\u0627\u0645\u062f\u0627 \u0648\u0645\u0635\u0644\u064a\u0627 \u0648\u0645\u0633\u0644\u0645\u0627<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The meaning of being a mureed (disciple) of someone is to rectify one&#8217;s inner self. Like how students connect themselves to teachers for\u00a0learning purposes. Rectifying one&#8217;s inner self in necessary for both males and females. Therefore it is also permissible for a woman to become a mureed. \u00a0However, becoming a mureed does not cause a person to become a mahram. <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">It is a serious sin for a woman to come in front of a shaikh simply because she is his mureed<\/span>. <strong>If the shaikh follows the Sunnah he himself will not allow this.<\/strong> Shariah comes first. To go against the laws of Shariah is total deviation and misguidance.
