Is there zakah on the\u00a0sheep\u00a0or not?<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Answer: \u062d\u0627\u0645\u062f\u0627 \u0648\u0645\u0635\u0644\u064a\u0627 \u0648\u0645\u0633\u0644\u0645\u0627<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If the sheep\u00a0reach\u00a040 or more in number then zakat will be compulsory at the end of the year. If\u00a0raising\u00a0the sheep is not simply for eating but it is actually for procreation, even if the owner eats one periodically, the details of which can be seen in the books of fiqh, whether the sheep graze on ones own land, government&#8217;s land or anyone else\u2019s land, all the scenarios are the same.
