Imam Abu Hanifa has over 70 chains with only 2 links between him and\u00a0the Messenger of Allah \u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645.<\/p>\n

He narrates from many great Tabe’een the likes of Salim ibn Abdillah ibn Umar, Naafe’, Zuhri, Ata ibn Abi Rabah, Sha’bi, Simak ibn Harb, Yahya ibn Saeed al-Ansari and others.<\/p>\n

Here are charts that show that Imam Abu Hanifah is a student of many outstanding students of the Sahabah. It also shows that he has many chains that only have 2 links between him and the Rasool of Allah \u0635\u0644\u0649 \u0627\u0644\u0644\u0647 \u0639\u0644\u064a\u0647 \u0648\u0633\u0644\u0645.<\/p>\n

Further below you will see that Imam Abu Hanifah has only one link connecting him to great Sahabah the likes of Ibn Masood, Abu Dardaa, Abu Musa, Abu Umamah, Abu Zarr, Umm Salamah and others. May Allah be pleased with them all. All of this proves the ocean of hadith knowledge that Imam Abu Hanifah had acquired and based his ijtihad and mazhab upon.
